A few years ago my wife and I started our company Zena Foods.
We are a Mediterranean food company here on the Monterey Peninsula.
I am originally from North Africa and have yet to discover here the similiar tastes and
textures from the foods that I remember from back home.
Thankfully with my wife's extensive culinary backround
and her personal passion for cuisine and culture of the Meditterrenean
and my love for the open market place we have successfully been introducing our tasty
line of ten different Hummus Flavors , Tzaziki ,Tabhouli ,Sahara Carott Salad, Prince Gabriel, Mezzes, Olives, Harissa, Baklava
Pita Bread and Pita Chip's into our local Farmers Markets.
Currently: We Can Be Found At These California Farmers Market Locations !
- TUESDAY- The Barnyard (Carmel) 9am -1pm and Downtown Monterey 4pm-8pm
- WEDNESDAY- Saratoga Market Plaza 2:30PM-6:30PM
- FRIDAY- MPC (Monterey)10am-2pm and Watsonville 4pm-7pm
- SATURDAY- Cabrillo College (Aptos) 8am-12pm and Los Altos 9 am-2 pm
- SUNDAY- Kensington (near Berkeley) 10am-3pm
We Also Take Special Orders And We Offer Catering and Special Event Services
We also try to use mostly organic produce and locally grown produce from the farmers at our shared markets as much as possible.Every product we make by hand and in small batches.
Our Mission is to provide the highest quality ingredients in our products as well as be as sustainable as possible.We are always looking to improve our packaging and delivery systems to become as environmentally safe as we can.
Please Note:That all of our products are vegan except for the Prince Gabriel and Feta with herb and garlic.
